UK MTB TRI KIELDER MOUNTAIN BIKE TRIATHLON
Please note Northumbria Water are reviewing their
water usage policy after last years sailing accident. In the unlikely
event of triathlon swimming being banned this will become a duathlon.
Swim: 1500m (TBC)
Bike: 30K (MTB climbing to 1800ft)
Run: 10K (Fell/Trail climbing to 1400ft)
This event is being run in conjuction
with Kielder Partnership at Kielder Water and Forest Park for
more details on other activities and facilities available go to
www.kielder.org.uk.
Please note that swimming
is not allowed anywhere at Kielder Water if you swim here you
will jeopardize the future of the race and if you are identified
you will be disqualified from racing.
The course for 2010 remains the same
with some exciting new sections of single track between Leaplish
and Kielder Castle. See the course map for full details.
