Afan Forest (South Wales) Triathlon
Dear Athletes
I was contacted by Glyn Neath Lakes at 1800hrs today. They have
informed me that they have been ordered by the land owners to
cease all operations at the lakes. They could offer no explanation
for this.
I have been looking at the possibility of running a duathlon as
a substitute but can not put the necessary risk assessments, toilet
facilities (we could not even use the land around the lakes) etc
in place in time.
I hope you will accept my apologies for this.
We will try to re-schedule the race for September. If you require
a transfer to the Dearne Valley event or a refund please e-mail
me.
We will be offering a chance to ride the course meeting at 1100hrs
on Sunday at the Dragon downhill car park off the B4242 look out
for the event parking sign if you are already at the venue.
Please accept my sincere apologies.

All registration, parking, camping,
prize giving etc will take place at Glyn Neath Lakes which is
the start finish and transition area. Camping available from Friday
evening.
